This policy explains how K2 Mobility Ventures LLC d/b/a K2 Automation Advisors ("K2," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit k2automationadvisors.com, contact us, call or text our phone numbers, or use our services. K2 is a Michigan limited liability company. Our business address is 2222 W Grand River Ave Ste A, Okemos, MI 48864.

Text messaging and your mobile number. We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in data and consent to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the message you send, and anything you tell us on a call or by text or email.
Text message consent records: whether you agreed to receive text messages, which kind (customer care or marketing), the wording you agreed to, and the date, time and source (for example, our website form or a text you sent us). We also record opt-out (STOP) requests.
Call and text records: when you call or text our numbers, we receive your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the messages exchanged. Calls may be answered by an automated AI assistant, and calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can follow up on your request. The assistant tells callers that it is automated.
Basic technical data: our website host may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use information

To respond to your questions and requests and to schedule calls or demos.
To send text messages you agreed to receive, as described in our SMS terms, and to honor opt-out requests.
To provide, set up and support our services for clients.
To keep records of consent and opt-outs, to protect against fraud and abuse, and to comply with law.

Who we share information with

Service providers (subcontractors in support services) that run tools for us under agreements that limit how they can use the information: for example, our CRM and phone/text messaging platform, our email provider, our scheduling tool and our website host, and the phone carriers that deliver calls and texts. Our current providers are Google Workspace (email, calendar and scheduling), Microsoft 365 (business email and documents), and Netlify (website hosting and contact-form submissions). We will update this list if we add a CRM or a phone and text messaging platform.
Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

None of these purposes includes sharing your mobile number or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry, call and message records for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify them. We keep consent and opt-out records for at least 4 years after our last contact with you, so we can show and honor your choices.

Your choices and rights

Texts: reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS terms.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below. We may need to verify your request, and we may keep a record of an opt-out so we don't contact you again.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls on the accounts that hold your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
